It’s a YES for Australia to legalize love!

Australians are celebrating today. Well, 7,817,247 of them are. That was the number of people who voted yes in the much publicized same-sex marriage postal vote that seemed to have their country divided. As it turns out, 61.6% of voters surveyed favoured marriage equality, with 38.4% against. (Not so divided after all.) Australia will become the 26th nation to formalize the legalities of same-sex unions when the legislation is eventually passed by parliament. Congratulations Australia! (Good on ya, mate!)
